Figure decorative sulla facciata dell’ex Cinema Olimpia – Scimmiette (figure in stucco, da originali in creta)

Decorative Figures on the façade of the former “Cinema Olimpia”Monkeys (stucco molded from originals made out of clay)
Series of decorative bas-relief and sculpted figures on the façade of the Bottega Terzo Settore building in Via Trieste in Ascoli Piceno (formerly Cinema Olimpia), installed circa 1926 and recently restored (2016) by the highly skilled Monica Vittori. The four large bas-relief panels and the sculpted figures on the façade are made of stucco, molded from the original clay models featured in the black & white photos previously shown.
One of the parrot figurines, destroyed perhaps by inclement weather, was completely reconstructed with extraordinary care and precision by Paolo Bastiani. We wish to extend our appreciation to the entire team of restorers for the skillful mastery and care devoted to the project.
