Majolica tile, date uncertain
This majolica tile (F.A.M.A. Manufacture) is actually a work by Ada Felicetti, at the time not yet Aldo Castelli’s spouse, from a sketch that Aldo had created for the “Good Shepherd” fresco (circa 1938) in the chapel of the Sanatorio of Ascoli Piceno, sadly destroyed during a remodeling of the building in later years.
