Donated by the Castelli heirs to the Civic Museum of Ascoli Piceno in 2008.
The artwork has never been displayed publicly despite repeated solicitations by the Castelli family.

Unfortunately, we have no knowledge of the location of this splendid portrait, and we only have a black and white photo. Anyone who might able to give us any indications about it, please contact us. We only want to take a full-color picture for archive purposes and for the monography that will be eventually published.

Aldo at work on the “Good Shepherd” Fresco in the chapel of the former Sanatorium in Ascoli (1938).
Sadly, the fresco was later destroyed during a remodeling of the facility.

Ada Felicetti, who married the artist in the summer of the following year, painted a majolica tile from the sketches for this fresco (see photo in the “Majolicas” section).
